President and Member of Knowledge Matters Co-op Limited, a co-operative society offering expertise and skills to any person or persons through experience and educational programs, developed to deliver the understanding of any subject, theoretically and/or practically, utilizing cognitive and pedagogical processes of perception, learning, communication, association and reasoning, with the aim of providing an adequate understanding of any subject with the ability to use that subject for any specific purpose. The scope of the co-operative is to assist foreign medical students attending the University of Malta and similar institutions by providing them with an interactive targeted program of Medical-Maltese. The co-operative is also targeting other students not necessary medical students, who require the knowledge of Medical-Maltese to be able to understand the communication between the Maltese speaking patient and the medical professional within state-owned care centres, hospitals and private care centres. The co-operative is also targeting other Foreign renowned Universities established in Malta and who require such services. |

Koperattivi Malta – The Federation of Maltese Co-operatives is a non-political organisation set up by the Co-operative Societies ACT (Cap. 442) of the Laws of Malta for the sole purpose of representing and promoting the co-operative movement in the Maltese Islands. Koperattivi Malta’s mission is to provide vital services to its members in the field of education, training and management consultancy, aimed at enhancing the co-operative movement and the benefits derived therefrom by its members. Koperattivi Malta is also committed towards the proactive representation of the movement locally and in international fora. |

Central Co-operative Fund (CCF) is established by the Co-operative Societies ACT (Cap. 442) of the Laws of Malta, wherein every co-operative society registered in Malta contributes 5% of it annual surplus to the Fund. The main objectives of the Committee are to manage the funds and to promote co-operative education, training, research, audit and the Co-operative Movement in Malta in general. |

The Co-operatives Board is a government institution established to register and regulate co-operative societies under the Co-operative Societies ACT (Cap. 442) of the Laws of Malta and to advise the Minister responsible on all co-operative aspects. |
